Chop, Chop, Chop

The two piggies, Buttercup and Daffodil, squeak,
squawk, and squeal for FOOD
all day - EVERY day.

("It's just so squeak-licious, Miss Dilly Bean!")

A typical yummy-in your-tummy breakfast
if you are a piggy living with Miss Dilly Bean.

(Romaine lettuce, shredded carrot,
chopped red bell pepper, curly parsley, and
a TEENY-TINY smidge of apple.)

Remember:  Piggies are pigs about fruit, but
they just need a SMIDGE of it.

Hello, Little Romaine Lettuce.  You are
VERY popular with guinea piggies.

(The piggies will eat red leaf, spinach, and
mixed varieties too, but romaine lettuce is their
favorite.)

Little Parsley, you are the second favorite.
You are stuffed with vitamin C which
is just what the piggies need!

(Piggies can't make their own vitamin C; a good
piggy owner supplements it.)

Little Parsley, you sometimes make
silly Daffodil's fur around her mouthy mouth mouth
turn GREEN.
That is CUTE, CUTE, CUTE.

A silly kitty is helping again; do
you see the kitty footie, Little Reader?

Little Cucumber, you are a treat some days.
Piggies love this goodie too, but
only in moderation.

(Little Cucumber, you are very WATERY so too much is NOT good
for their digestion...if you know
what Miss Dilly Bean means!)

Oh, see the three plumpy plump plump blueberries?
Every now and then, the piggies get
that fruity treat in TEENY-TINY amounts.

Litte Apple, you are
Daffodil's favorite!
Daffodil is probably writing you an ode right
this very little minute.

Get ready for some beautiful poetry, Little Apple.

Little Red Bell Pepper, you are always a hit.
(The piggies would NEVER get this much in a serving.
It was just so pretty so Miss Dilly Bean
just kept chopping, chopping, chopping.)

Did you know, Little Reader, that
guinea piggies need a constant supply
of hay?  Yes, they do.

The Dilly Bean piggies eat Timothy Hay.

Fresh hay makes the piggies "popcorn" which
is a piggy behavior where they jump in the air
with happiness.

Popcorning Piggies make Miss Dilly Bean
GIGGLE, GIGGLE, GIGGLE every time.

"Hey Miss Dilly Bean.  Are you done
CHOPPING, CHOPPING, CHOPPING?

We are HUNGRY, HUNGRY, HUNGRY."

P.S. - Silly piggies are ALWAYS hungry even if they're not!

Hoping someone makes you a delicious
yummy-in your-tummy breakfast.
