Because of two certain

she now spends

at Little Grocery Store
sorting and sifting through
leafy greens looking
for just
the
PERFECT
tasty treat
for the
squeaky piggies.

And Miss Dilly Bean
was a wee bit surprised
when she slowly realized
how
HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY
she gets
when she spots
leafy greens
that are
SUPER DUPER
fresh!

(She never paid
this much attention
to leafy greens before
the squeaky piggies came along.)

She even thinks she might
be a leafy greens
"expert" by now...

A couple of years ago,
a DELIGHTFUL co-worker
shared a SUPER DUPER
healthy smoothie with
Miss Dilly Bean,...and
she has been hooked
ever since.

In the SUPER DUPER healthy
smoothie, you'll find
a handful of blueberries,
a smidge of almond butter,
a few ice cubes, almond milk,
a bit of protein powder,
and a
handful of leafy greens.

Roasty Toasty

Last week, Miss Dilly Bean
discovered the delicious joys
of what happens when you
roast chick peas
in the oven
 with
some olive oil, soy sauce,
and
lime juice.

(Magical flavors begin
to float all over
Little Kitchen.)
 

And to make it really
Yummy-in-your-Tummy,
Miss Dilly Bean tossed
the roasty toasty chick peas
over a salad
using her new
super-duper favorite
homemade dressing
of
Dijon mustard, olive oil, and lemon juice.

The Power Of Curry

Lately, Miss Dilly Bean
has been doing lots of
COOKING COOKING COOKING
which she's pretty sure

Mr. Dilly Bean

This little lentil
soup with curry and coconut milk
was a snap to make,...

but Miss Dilly Bean
does not use
curry very much
at all...

and had no idea
just a little
tablespoon of it
would envelope
the house!

Who knew roasted beets
tossed over a homemade
mustard/olive oil/lemon juice dressing
and sprinkled with
freshly grated parmesan cheese
was just so
YUMMY-In-Your-TUMMY?

pleasantly surprised
at how yummy and healthy
this little meal turned out to be.

A Week For The Cutie Pies

Miss Dilly Bean and
her Cutie Pies
(and OODLES of other Cutie Pies)
celebrated
ALL LAST WEEK
that they are part
of a
SUPER DUPER SCHOOL!

Festivities included an
afternoon of bowling.

(A few strikes were had!)

Cutie Pies had more
free time than usual
and discovered the joys of
puzzles.

Puzzly puzzles were
ALL OVER
Little Classroom. 

Movie afternoon was
 big fun
with these little
tasty treats.

faithfully wore

ALL DAY.

And after
OODLES and OODLES
of fun all week,
Miss Dilly Bean
saw this little goodie
at the store...

so she scooped him up
because he reminded her
of their movie afternoon
from the day before.
