It Sounded Like A Bird

Why was this sitting on the counter when
Miss Dilly Bean returned home yesterday?

Little Pet Carrier, why had
you come out of hiding from
Little Storage Shed?

Oh dear...dear...dear.

Mr. Dilly Bean had quite a
story to tell yesterday of
a certain silly BABY kitty
who was stranded on a busy street
and CRYING, CRYING, CRYING.

(Mr. Dilly Bean was getting gas and
thought he kept hearing a little bird...)

Now this silly BABY kitty is at the
Dilly Bean home.

The Dilly Bean home seems FULL, FULL, FULL
to Miss Dilly Bean, but Mr. Dilly Bean
says this silly BABY kitty
needs us.

Hoping a silly BABY something needs you too.

Perfectly Pink

Little Readers, do you remember that this silly kitty
has a perfect, little, straight tail?

This silly kitty has something else
that is
PERFECT, PERFECT, PERFECT...

Perfectly PINK...

What could it be?

Silly kitty sometimes hides it,
but this silly kitty
has a PERFECTLY PINK...

Nosey nose nose.

Silly Kitty, won't you show us your little
perfectly pink nose?

Silly Kitty says go away
unless you are Mr. Dilly Bean.

(This silly kitty is
HOPELESSLY devoted to
Mr. Dilly Bean.)

Hoping all of you are
hopelessly devoted to someone.

Looking For Love

Miss Dilly Bean and her sister
popped into the flea market on Saturday.

Love is EVERYWHERE at
Little Flea Market...

Miss Dilly Bean's sister
loved this cutie pie WAY TOO MUCH!

(Good thing that Little Cutie Pie already had
a new home waiting on her.)

Lucky Duckies anyone?
Anyone who loves those would have
been HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY
to see that booth.

Awww...Miss Dilly Bean
thinks this little doll
needs some extra love.

She is sort of sad she didn't get
this little cutie pie.

Maybe Miss Dilly Bean will
see you next week, Little Cutie Pie.

Miss Dilly Bean and her sister
both loved this shimmery
lavender vase.

(Miss Dilly Bean's sister scooped
up this little treasure.)

No words needed for how
we all feel about home-grown goodies!

(We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them.)

Shake it, Love Machine Robot!

Hoping all of you find
love (or at least a bunch of happiness)
next time you pop into a
little flea market.

I Told You So

"Miss Dilly Bean!  Plum, the kitty, says
you love her the most since
she is the OLDEST, and I'm just the BABY
of the family."

Silly peke and silly kitty.
You know Miss Dilly Bean loves
you both SO, SO, SO much
in just the same
super-duper amount.

"See.....I told you so!"

"Silly BABY pekes...they'll believe anything."

Hoping all of you feel SUPER-DUPER
loved
whether you're the oldest or the youngest.

Little Perfect Curl

Miss Dilly Bean has curly, curly hair
even on days when she battles the
curly, curly hair.

The curly, curly hair ALWAYS wins!

And for a BRIEF moment someone else
had some curly, curly hair...

Hello Little Perfect Curl on Maizie's tail.

You are just perfect, Little Perfect Curl.

Miss Dilly Bean isn't always
HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY with her
curly, curly hair, but she thinks
on Maizie it really is a perfect curl.

Hoping all of you
smile when you see something
that is perfect.

If You Were The Teacher

Responses from some of Miss Dilly Bean's
classroom cutie pies!

The Question:  "If you were the
teacher for one day, name something you
would like to teach the class."

Hanging upside-down on a jungle gym
was a very important skill
when Miss Dilly Bean went
to Little Elementary School.

Miss Dilly Bean would like to
know some sign language.

A future philosopher?
history teacher?
geologist?

Miss Dilly Bean has perfected this skill.

The glass is half full...

The glass is half empty???

Wishing all of you a chance to be a teacher
for a day...or years...or decades!

Big Problem

"Miss Dilly Bean, hurry over!
We have a BIG, BIG, BIG
problem!"

"Just look WHO is on the
pekingese pillow, Miss Dilly Bean!"

"This won't do at ALL, ALL, ALL."

"Rosie's right, Miss Dilly Bean.
That pillow is for PEKINGESE only!
Which means me!"

"Oh boy, I'll never sleep now with those two
carrying on."

Little Pekingese Pillow, it would
have been nice if the pekes
had shared you.

"We're NOT sharing
the pekingese pillow, Miss Dilly Bean,
no matter how many times
you tell us that sharing
is NICE, NICE, NICE."

Hoping all of you are better
at sharing than Rosie and Maizie.

Beauty Sleep

Little Readers, would most of all of you
agree that Rosie, the peke, is
CUTE, CUTE, CUTE?

(Even with that silly toothy poking
out of her mouthy mouth mouth.)

Well, Little Readers, the road
to CUTE, CUTE, CUTE
is not
CUTE, CUTE, CUTE.

Rosie and Beauty Sleep.

Little Beauty Sleep, do you have
to make Rosie look sort of scary
during this part?

Oh dear, the one-eyed Beauty Sleep Monster
has spotted Miss Dilly Bean.

"Step away, Miss Dilly Bean!  I cannot be
disturbed during this process."

Hoping you get all the
beauty sleep you want.

Look how LITTLE, LITTLE, LITTLE we were!"

"Miss Dilly Bean spent time every day
CHOPPING, CHOPPING, CHOPPING
just for us."

"So we
GREW, GREW, GREW!"

Happy 1st Birthday
Daffodil and Buttercup!!!

Hoping that something you
love has

Space Invader

Hello, Little Reader.
Is this silly kitty a little
too close for you???

This silly kitty is
ALWAYS too close
to Miss Dilly Bean.

This silly kitty
INSISTS, INSISTS, INSISTS
on being right
up next to Miss Dilly Bean
all the time.

Yes, ALL THE TIME.

This silly kitty
also
meows, meows, meows,
the entire time
when she is so close
to Miss Dilly Bean.

Miss Dilly Bean
acts like it
bothers her,
but she knows one day
this silly kitty won't be around
to be TOO CLOSE
to Miss Dilly Bean.

So Miss Dilly Bean
just
stops whatever she is doing
ALL THE TIME
to
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE
the silly kitty.

Hoping your personal space gets
invaded by someone or something
you love.

May The Force...Do What?

Little Classroom is just teeny-tiny
minutes away from
being delightfully
swarmed by cutie pies
who will come to stay
for the next nine months!

Are you ready
Little Welcome Robot?

Little Welcome Robot is
all GEARED up!

Little Cutie Pies will
need to get their names on the
birthday chart.

Cupcakes, brownies, and cookies- oh my!

DARLING punch-out numbers
and letters have helped
make Little Classroom
CUTE, CUTE, CUTE.

Teachery bookshelves have been filled
UP, UP, UP with teachery STUFF, STUFF, STUFF.

(Miss Dilly Bean LOVES the
chubby guinea piggy on the card
in the frame.)

Teachery stuff includes
notepads only teachers would use.

(Miss Dilly Bean is not ashamed to admit
that she loves shopping for these
SILLY notepads.  She has a snail, cow,
bear, happy face, toucan, lobster,
bumble bee, penguin...)

Little Classroom Library has been
sorted, organized, and arranged.

Please stay that way ALL YEAR,
Little Classroom Library.

"I'm here to protect you, Miss Dilly Bean!
Right here on your desk is where
I'll be keeping watch over
EVERYTHING!"

Hmmm...Miss Dilly Bean isn't
sure what she needs protecting from,
but she'll let Darth Tater stay anyway.

Should she tell him he is just
too CUTE, CUTE, CUTE?

Hoping a project of yours is
coming to completion too.

Little School...Little Tears

Last week Miss Dilly Bean
went back to her little hometown.

Little Hometown is
FLAT, FLAT, FLAT.
Not a bump in sight.

No bumpy land = happy farmers

Miss Dilly Bean had just a few minutes to
go see one of the most SPECIAL places
to her
on this whole, big, old earth.

Miss Dilly Bean's ELEMENTARY SCHOOL!

Mr. Dilly Bean has heard oodles of happy
stories from when Miss Dilly Bean went to
Little Elementary School.

She was so happy he was there to see
it with her.

Except Miss Dilly Bean began
to cry as soon as she walked into
Little Elementary School so
Mr. Dilly Bean and her nephew
began to walk away from
Miss Dilly Bean.

Silly boys...they were happy tears.

Miss Dilly Bean thinks this
simple, little picture
gloriously explains why
Miss Dilly Bean
LOVES, LOVES, LOVES
Little Elementary School.

It was a very quick day
spent in Little Hometown.

Good-bye Little Elementary School.

You will live in
Miss Dilly Bean's heart
FOREVER.
(Miss Dilly Bean has happy tears going again.
Oh my, my, my...)

Hello Little Arkansas River.

Miss Dilly Bean did not
really miss you,
Little Arkansas River, but
she did miss...

Rosie and Maizie!

Even a day away from those silly pekes
is too much for Miss Dilly Bean.

Hoping all of you have happy
tears now and then.

Miss Dilly Bean

P.S.- A Super Duper Thank You to Miss Dilly Bean's
AMAZINGLY
GENEROUS BROTHER-IN-LAW who
made the trip to Little Hometown
Super-Duper EASY!
