We're Ready Little Christmas Break

Little Christmas Break,
the Cutie Pies and Miss Dilly Bean
would
REALLY, REALLY, REALLY
like to be with you
as soon as possible.

Please hurry to us,
Little Christmas Break.

We haven't seen you
since last year
and that
seems like a
LONG, LONG, LONG
time ago.

Hoping you have
more patience than
Miss Dilly Bean
and
her Cutie Pies.

Let's Go To Town

Miss Dilly Bean's dad and wife live
in an ITTY BITTY town.

This sounds kind of crazy to
Miss Dilly Bean because
she did not grow up in
this ITTY BITTY town.

But in this ITTY BITTY town,
your backyard can be this...

So MAYBE Miss Dilly Bean
could live in an ITTY BITTY town
if that were her backyard.

But when you live in an ITTY BITTY
town you have to say things like,
"I'm going TO TOWN for groceries."

or

"I'm going TO TOWN to shop...
at Wal-Mart."

So, Little Reader, practice
saying that if want to
live in an ITTY BITTY town.

The DELIGHTFUL wife of
Miss Dilly Bean's dad,
had holiday delightfulness
 outside and...

inside their home.
(Their home is
FESTIVE, FESTIVE, FESTIVE
everywhere
all thanks to
Delightful Wife.)

Hoping you are
experiencing delightfulness
both inside and outside your home.

Be Brave

On the road again...
Miss Dilly Bean set out with
her sister and family
to go see
more family
over the weekend.

While in
The Natural State
(Miss Dilly Bean
 will let you
figure out which
 state that is...),
Miss Dilly Bean dared
to try something
that seems
to be
DREADED, DREADED,
DREADED
by most people.

FRUIT CAKE!

Yip, Miss Dilly Bean
bravely took a bite,
and
do you know what,
Little Reader?

It was pretty
Yummy-in-your-Tummy.
(Miss Dilly Bean is
 not joking either.)

The fruity fruit cake was
moist and flavorful with
hints of fruit and oodles
of nuts.

So now Miss Dilly Bean
can
BOLDLY claim
she has tried a piece
of fruity fruit cake
and
shared with the world,
(well, at least shared
 with you,
Little Reader)
that it was
pretty TASTY.

Hoping you'll give something
a chance even if
you have heard
horrible, awful, scary
things about it.

The Return To Little Flea Market

Vintage this and
 Vintage that...
Miss Dilly Bean HAD to
return to
 Little Flea Market...,
and that's a fact!

Some of the vintage goodies included
this little nativity from the 50's.
(It came with the original box even!)

More goodies included
these little angels made in Japan
along with Little Santa in the back
holding a BLUE bottlebrush tree.

In this little photo you can
see how much
glitter still remains
on Little Nativity...

The little angel's
sweet eyelashes...

and
 Santa's BLUE
 bottlebrush tree.

Look!  Little Nativity still has
 Little Angel on the top.
(Sometimes those break off...)

Look!  The entire time
Miss Dilly Bean
 was arranging
her vintage goodies,
one pesky BABY Kitty
kept slinking
around
AND
around
AND
around
AND
around.

Do you get the idea,
 Little Reader?

Hope you're having fun
with some goodies -
vintage or not.

Little Co-Blogger

Miss Dilly Bean thought
 you should know,
Little Reader,
that Bestest Buddy,
Maizie the Peke,
is also
Miss Dilly Bean's co-blogger.

Miss Dilly Bean
does most of her blogging
on the sofa, and
her Bestest Buddy
almost always
positions herself
sort of upright like
a little human
right next to
Miss Dilly Bean
and then lays her
Bestest Buddy head
on Miss Dilly Bean's shoulder
while Miss Dilly Bean
types away.

(And Miss Dilly Bean
ALWAYS stops
making the little blog
for a moment so she can
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE
on her Bestest Buddy...
because there
is a little
Bestest Buddy head
on Miss Dilly Bean's shoulder.)

Hoping you feel
LOVE when someone
or something lays
their head on your shoulder.

One Potato, Two Potato

One of the perks
of being around
Cutie Pies all the time
is you can have toys
on your desk, and
no one says anything
about a toy on your desk
even though you are a
grown UP UP UP
because
you spend all
your days with
Cutie Pies,
and it only makes sense
to have a toy on your desk!

(How's that for a
rambly ramble sentence???)

Hoping you have
 a perk or two
in your life too.

Miss Dilly Bean

P.S.- Miss Dilly Bean admits
 she has
more than one toy
 in the Little Classroom...
there is another
 little fellow
 in the background
you might recognize.

Blue Blue Blue

A few blocks away from
Miss Dilly Bean,
a certain little school
is having a very
BLUE, BLUE, BLUE
Christmas.

Should Miss Dilly Bean
admit out loud that
a few years ago,
Miss Dilly Bean
did not understand
why the entire little school
was covered
in
BLUE, BLUE, BLUE?

(She's not very sporty...,
but she understands now.)

Hoping your brain
doesn't act as silly as
Miss Dilly Bean's.
